Paradox Productions.
I built Paradox Productions a dark, late-night website that still does the serious work of proving quality. The regional wedding magazine award sits in the hero beside a single date-check button, and a long, dated review feed backs it up.
HOVER TO SCROLL
From brief to launch.
With Paradox Productions I had to balance nightclub atmosphere with hard evidence, and I planned each stage around that tension.
-
01 discover
Mood and proof
I noted the two jobs: feel like a party, and show the award, the reviews and the separate services clearly.
-
02 plan
Evidence order
I set the hero award and date check first, then wedding, corporate and party choices, then the review block.
-
03 design
Black and gold
I used near-black with champagne gold serif headings over a busy dance floor hero shot.
-
04 build
Reviews and forms
I built a paged feed of client reviews, forms for quotes and for checking open dates, and a rotating corporate logo band.
-
05 content
Extra pages
I added pages for the photo booth and a music area with mixes and well-loved dance tracks.

Service area footer
I listed every area in the footer, from Seattle and Eugene to the Oregon Coast, Idaho and San Francisco.
The build, step by step.
- Award in the hero. The magazine badge naming them Portland's top DJ shares the opening with one button to check dates.
- Three service tracks. Weddings, corporate events and private parties each get their own route right after the hero.
- Dated review feed. Reviews load page by page, and every five-star rating shows when it was left.
- Night-out palette. Near-black backgrounds, champagne gold serif headings and a packed dance floor photo set the mood.
- Swipeable on phones. The badge and date checker stay in view without scrolling, and reviews become one swipe card at a time.
