Geddit.
I built Geddit a WordPress landing site where every section leads back to a download. Google Play, App Store and Huawei buttons sit under the animated headline, return beneath the phone gallery and appear again in the footer, while businesses, players and press each get a side door that does not distract from the install.
HOVER TO SCROLL
From brief to launch.
Success here was counted in installs, so I planned the whole build around repeating the download ask without crowding out other audiences.
-
01 discover
Installs as the metric
I confirmed the app is listed in three stores and that players, businesses and journalists would all arrive with different needs.
-
02 plan
Download ask repeated
I mapped store buttons under the hero, badges below the phone gallery and a final set in the footer, with side routes in between.
-
03 design
Gradient on deep space
I used the brand's magenta-to-blue gradient on black, a frosted pill menu and a glowing contact area over a pinned world map.
-
04 build
WordPress effects
I built the typing headline, the embedded video reel, the AR phone gallery and a contact form whose phone field includes a flag-based country selector.
-
05 content
News and newsletter
I added a company news row, a card for newsletter signups and footer links to competitions and locations.

Stacked store buttons
I checked the three download buttons drop into one column on small screens and stay easy to tap.
The build, step by step.
- Three stores, three chances. I placed download buttons for all three app stores at the top, middle and bottom of the page.
- Headlines that type. I coded a typewriter effect that spells out each headline one letter at a time.
- Space-black with a gradient glow. Geddit's magenta-to-blue gradient glows on deep black, and the menu floats in a frosted pill around the logo.
- Routes for every audience. One button sends businesses to their portal, a teaser tells players theirs is coming, and news and newsletter cards serve the press.
- Phones showing the product. A three-phone gallery shows off the AR avatars, and a video reel plays inside the platforms card.
