M and R Shine.
I built a site for a commercial kitchen exhaust cleaner where photos do the persuading. Restaurant owners worry about fire and health inspections and rarely read long copy, so I put real before-and-after job photos ahead of any service text and kept a quote request close throughout.
HOVER TO SCROLL
From brief to launch.
Busy restaurateurs were the audience, so I planned the build around visuals first and text second.

01 discover
The inspector worry
I focused the site on the owner's fear of fire or health inspection problems and how to answer it with evidence.
-
02 plan
Photos lead
I placed the hero, a service icon bar and the comparison photos above any written service detail.
-
03 design
Steel and blue
I used a stainless kitchen hero and blue gradient bands around the split comparison images.

04 build
Checklist and plans
I built the service checklist, the maintenance plan section, the estimate band, the blog and the footer quote form.
-
05 optimise
Tappable on phones
I turned the icon bar into a stacked list and made every comparison photo expand to full width.

Ready for owners
I tested the gallery and quote form on phones and desktop before handing the site over.
The build, step by step.
- Proof before prose. Before-and-after photos show up before any service text, right after the hero and icon bar.
- Real jobs only. Split frames pair a grease-caked duct with the same surface after cleaning, framed by blue-to-cyan bands.
- Services as a checklist. Hoods, degreasing, appliances and floors, gas lines and stainless walls are listed the way an inspector would tick them off.
- Maintenance, not one-offs. A what-to-expect section sets out the ongoing service plans in plain language.
- Estimates always nearby. A free estimate band and a short footer quote form sit next to the Winnipeg address.
