Thoughtful Design Group.
I built an understated site for an apparel development group with a very wide service range. A crafted opening, a single service grid and a wall of magazine-style collection covers let the work show that this team ships new collections every season.
HOVER TO SCROLL
From brief to launch.
The risk was looking like a mass producer, so each step of this build pushed craft and proof of output.
-
01 discover
The factory problem
I looked at how a long service list can read as volume rather than creativity and what would counter that.
-
02 plan
Founder's route
I arranged every service into one grid a founder can follow from first sketch to finished garment.
-
03 design
Magazine covers
I designed the collections wall so each seasonal lookbook reads like an editorial cover.
-
04 build
Archive and cases
I built the past collections archive, featured case studies, logo strip and leadership profiles.
-
05 test
Scaling down
I let the grid step down to one column in stages and checked that cover lettering stays legible on a phone.

06 ✓ shipped
Quiet selling
The site went live letting the collections lead, with named client testimonials and a project enquiry form.
The build, step by step.
- Craft before scale. The hero shows tailoring tools laid out flat, shears, tape measures and thread, so the first impression is making rather than manufacturing.
- One grid, sketch to delivery. Every service, from trend work and branding through production and fulfilment to online stores and search, sits in one shared grid.
- A wall of collections. Each season's lookbook cover is styled like a magazine issue, with models in the actual garments.
- Case studies and logos. Featured work includes a company rebrand that came with a staff rewards web shop, and a lab coat line, plus a client logo strip.
- Leaders with faces. The three leaders each get a portrait and a brief bio, and a new-project form handles enquiries.
