Case study

Zoellner Insurance Agency.

Being independent is the reason to call Zoellner Insurance, so I built the homepage to demonstrate it. Carrier logos sit under the hero as proof, coverage types read like a menu, and every path ends in a spam-protected quote form for home, auto, business and more.

// how it was built

From brief to launch.

I treated this homepage as a tool for comparing carriers rather than a brochure, and the build steps followed from that.

  1. 01 discover

    Broker advantage

I pinned down what separates an independent broker from a captive agent: access to many carriers.

  2. 02 plan

    Comparison flow

I ordered the page as promise, carrier proof, three-step process, coverage cards, differentiators, FAQ and quote form.

  3. 03 design

    Black and red cards

I set coverage cards in black with red edges set against white line art of houses and streets.

  4. 04 build

    Quote paths

I gave every coverage card a dedicated quote button and built a spam-protected quote request form and a blog section.

  5. 05 content

    Local and service detail

I added a section on Oklahoma hail and wind exposure plus a panel on how the agency helps with claims, reviews policies and looks after accounts.

  6. 06 ✓ shipped

    Mobile pairs

On small screens I arranged coverage cards two per row and kept tap-to-call at the top.

What I did

The build, step by step.

  • Carriers shown, not claimed. Real carrier logos appear directly below the hero message about comparing to save.
  • Quote in three steps. Describe your needs, compare the quotes together and choose, all laid out before the coverage grid.
  • Menu of coverage cards. Red-edged black cards list home, auto, business, life, renters, pet, motorcycle and mobile home cover, each with a dedicated quote button.
  • Oklahoma weather section. A block on Oklahoma hail and wind exposure speaks to what local homeowners and drivers worry about.
  • Protected quote form. The request form is guarded against spam, and on mobile a tap on the phone number at the top places a call.
