Case study

Equine Expert.

I built this WordPress site for an equine expert witness whose clients are attorneys with a specific dispute on their desk. So I organised the services by case type, used the client's own horse photography instead of stock, and kept a way to book a call within reach.

// how it was built

From brief to launch.

Attorneys decide quickly whether an expert looks credible, so each stage of this WordPress build aimed at that first impression.

  1. 01 discover

    How lawyers search

I confirmed that attorneys look for help by type of dispute rather than by biography, which shaped the service structure.

  2. 02 plan

    Offer in the middle

I placed the free case review band halfway down so it appears before and after the detail.

  3. 03 design

    Saddle and navy

I combined deep navy with saddle brown, used a classic serif for headings and cut section edges on an angle.

  4. 04 build

    WordPress booking

I built the day and time call form, an attorney review carousel with dot controls, site search, accessibility controls and a blog.

  5. 05 optimise

    Phones first

I moved the call link above the logo and menu on small screens so contacting the expert takes one tap.

  6. 06 ✓ shipped

    Nationwide reach

The footer states the United States scope plainly, and a horse photo gallery closes out the credibility case.

What I did

The build, step by step.

  • Services sorted by dispute. Cards cover case types such as neglect, abuse, and fencing or confinement, matching how lawyers search.
  • Booking with a day and time. The central form lets an attorney choose a slot rather than send a vague enquiry.
  • Free review offered twice. A navy band midway down puts the free first case review on both sides of the supporting detail.
  • Authentic horse imagery. The client's pasture and show jumping shots fill the cards, the review background and the footer gallery, and the hero shows a rider's view over the horse's ears.
  • Call link first on mobile. Phone visitors see the call link before the logo or menu.
