Case study

Revisions Music.

I built Revisions Music a site that addresses solo artists and record labels as separate audiences from the first screen. Pricing starts with a free plan, the stats are deliberately modest, and sections on Content ID and streaming analytics show exactly what the service tracks.

// how it was built

From brief to launch.

Revisions Music needed one site for two audiences in two markets, so I planned the build around clear entry points.

  1. 01 discover

    Two audiences

I separated what an independent artist needs from what a label weighs, across the UK and Bangladesh.

  2. 02 plan

    Entry points

I planned separate artist and label buttons in the hero, then a stats band and store logos below the video.

  3. 03 design

    Gradient branding

I built the look on a navy-to-violet gradient with electric blue and bright pink accents.

  4. 04 build

    Pricing row

I built the tiered plans plus sections on Content ID earnings, official artist channels and an analytics dashboard preview.

  5. 05 content

    Roadmap and community

I flagged the upcoming multi-channel network and added a community area for UK artists and an industry trust strip.

    Mobile order

I made the plans stack free-first on phones and checked the royalty charts stayed readable.

What I did

The build, step by step.

  • Two sign-up routes. The hero has one button for artists and another for labels, so nobody starts in the wrong place.
  • Honest numbers band. Counts of releases, labels and artists are shown as they are, without inflation.
  • Free plan first. Pricing runs from a free social-platform option to yearly distribution, a small label plan and an enquiry-only pro tier.
  • Familiar app look. A navy-to-violet gradient with electric blue and pink details echoes the music apps artists use daily.
  • Readable on phones. Plans stack with the free option on top, and royalty charts stay legible at small sizes.
