Red Line.
Red Line had just been sold, and some customers were nervous about their pickups. I built a site that puts a spam-protected quote form in the hero, splits residential and commercial service cleanly and gives the team a closable bar for weather alerts.
HOVER TO SCROLL
From brief to launch.
This build had to serve two audiences at once, so I planned each step to balance reassurance for existing customers with quick quotes for new ones.
-
01 discover
New owner, uneasy customers
I looked at why current customers were unsure after the sale and what new prospects needed before asking for a price.
-
02 plan
Home and business split
I mapped a single card for each customer type leading to separate residential and commercial service pages.
-
03 design
Monochrome, red fleet
I desaturated every photo except the equipment and placed the local award badge beside the truck image.
-
04 build
Hero quote form
I coded the quote form into the opening banner, added reCAPTCHA and made it move below the heading on mobile.
-
05 integrate
Alerts and coverage
I added the closable weather bar and a coverage section with the list of towns next to a pinned map.
-
06 ✓ shipped
Footer and trust checks
I finished with rotating reviews, a no-contract checklist and a newsletter signup, then tested the two-column town list on phones.
The build, step by step.
- Reassurance up front. Customer stories about the new owner fixing equipment himself sit high on the page to answer the ownership question.
- A quote form in the banner. The request form lives beside the red roll-off photo, protected with reCAPTCHA, and drops under the heading on phones.
- Two customer paths. One card sends households to weekly cart pickup and another sends businesses to dumpster sizes, each with its own service page.
- Red only where it counts. Photos are black and white except for the bins and truck, so the fleet itself becomes the brand.
- A way to reach everyone. A dismissible severe weather bar lets the team post schedule changes in one place.
