Winkler Fence & Deck.
I built Winkler Fence & Deck a site that treats being family-run as an advantage rather than a limitation. Each structure type has its own page with real job photos, licensing is visible before anyone gets in touch, and the free estimate is never more than a glance away.
HOVER TO SCROLL
From brief to launch.
Winkler's range is broad and its competitors are bigger, so I organised the build around clarity and local trust.
-
01 discover
Small versus big
I focused on why a homeowner might pick a large firm and what would make a family business feel safer.
-
02 plan
Sort by structure
I split the offer into structure types, each with a card and page, plus a short hiring outline.
-
03 design
Cream and charcoal
I framed real job photos in cream and charcoal with a gold starburst and kept navy for the award badge.
-
04 build
Gallery and credentials
I built the inspiration gallery, a decking materials brand strip and a license credentials column.
-
05 optimise
Mobile grid
I kept the gallery in a tidy grid on phones and pinned the estimate request to the top.

Local details
I went live with customer reviews, a maintenance tips email signup, opening hours and the White Hall address.
The build, step by step.
- Family case up front. The opening section sets the family firm against larger companies and explains why that matters.
- A page for each structure. Decks, pergolas, arbors, sunrooms and aluminum, vinyl or wood fences each have a card plus a dedicated page.
- Real jobs only. Photos show actual work, such as a large estate deck and a white vinyl pool fence.
- Credentials in view. A column lists home improvement license numbers, and a navy band holds the local award badge.
- Estimate always reachable. The free estimate button stays in the header at every width and reappears through the page.
